Precision CNC Turning in Oklahoma City, OK

What is CNC Turning?

CNC Turning is a machining process that uses a lathe to rotate a metal at high speed while a static cutting tool removes material.

Turning differs from milling, where the cutting tool rotates. In the turning process the tool remains fixed while the lathe turns the raw metal part.

Turning offers some advantages over milling, based upon the shape of the material and the shapes of the final product.

Lathes can also be equipped with “live tooling,” giving the lathe many of the capabilities of a mill.

From turning and facing to drilling and tapping, our extensive range of lathes can provide the machining you need to supply consistent, high volumes of product.

Capabilities include:

  • Bar Feed Lathes (1/4″ – 2 1/4″ diameter)
  • Dual Spindle
  • Twin-Turret Lathes
  • Live Tooling Lathes
  • Swiss Machines
  • Vertical and Horizontal Lathes
  • Large Lathes with Chuck Diameters up to 19″
  • Automation, Robotic Load and Unload for some Applications
